Malaysia is not only the first country in the world to get the oldest prime minister in history, it is also going to be the first country in the world to get an ex-convict for a prime minister.
In fact, Malaysia is also the first country in the world to have a prime minister-in-waiting, the first country in the world to treat guarantees as debts, the first country in the world to remove taxes and the cost of living increases, the first country in the world to increase the cost of e-hailing taxis so that the cost of regular taxis would appear cheap, the first country in the world where non-Muslims preach Islam to Muslims, etc.
Anyway, Anwar Ibrahim was convicted for corruption and was sentenced to a six-year jail sentence. Anwar appealed his conviction all the way up to the federal court and lost. He also had to serve his full sentence with no pardon, after which he served his second sentence for sodomy.

Malaysians will appoint an immoral and corrupt ex-convict as their next prime minister Anwar did not win his appeal or receive a pardon — so that means the high court, appeal court, federal court, pardon’s board, and His Majesty the Agong, all believe Anwar is an immoral and corrupt person.
And this is the man who is supposed to become Malaysia’s eight prime minister — an immoral and corrupt ex-convict who never repented and asked for forgiveness from the Malaysian public for his crime.
Should an immoral and corrupt ex-convict who never repented and never asked for forgiveness from the Malaysian public be entrusted with the job of prime minister? In the UK, an ex-convict cannot even get a credit card or bank loan, let alone become the British prime minister.
Only in Malaysia can an ex-convict who is immoral and corrupt hold the highest office in the land. And only immoral and corrupt people would choose an immoral and corrupt person to become their prime minister.
