Loke Macc Has Not Summoned Me For Questioning

DAP secretary-general Anthony Loke said MACC has not summoned him for questioning in relation to the investigation into the approvals for migrant workers.
However, the transport minister is not sure if other party leaders have been called for questioning.
"I think we have not been called, we are not... I do not know (which case),” Loke (above) said.
"MACC did not say (it) links to which particular case. I have not been called,” he added.
Loke was responding to a news report which stated more people would be quizzed, including a politician who handles his party’s finances, in relation to the case involving a cabinet minister.
DAP national treasurer Fong Kui Loon also said that he has not been summoned.
"No one has called me," he said when contacted by Malaysiakini.
Utusan Malaysia, quoting sources, had reported that the witnesses would be called to provide information for the commission to “trace a large sum of money linked to a minister”.
The report did not mention the name of the minister or the case.
Human Resources Minister V SivakumarMACC is currently investigating several of Human Resources Minister V Sivakumar's senior aides. Sivakumar is a DAP lawmaker and the party's deputy secretary-general.
Those involved must be charged
Fong, who is also the Bukit Bintang MP, stressed that any political figure involved in corruption must face charges and be punished.
"Any MP, minister, or deputy minister who is involved in corruption has to be charged.
"(MACC) must act fairly and charge whoever (is involved in corruption). Put them in jail," he said.
Last week, the MACC nabbed a senior officer to Sivakumar, as well as the latter's private secretary, in connection with the case. The minister has reportedly suspended the duo, as well as another officer, following the MACC investigations.
On Monday, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said that there is no need for Sivakumar to go on leave pending a probe into the case as no charges have been pressed against the human resources minister. - Mkini
