Latest Rumours Another General Election By August September
Thats what I heard just now.
The 'undercurrent' on the ground is becoming more fed up with the Madani gomen. A new hotspot that is developing appears to be Johor where the 'rebels in UMNO' seem to have a stronger footing.
But reading the frequent criticisms against his bosses by the Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Abdul Karim (PKR) it appears that even PKR's own people in Johor are unhappy with the way the gomen is NOT functioning. So indeed Johor is becoming a hotspot of discontent against the Madani gomen.
Ok how will it happen?
There will be no coup d'etat. The upcoming polls in those SIX states (also to be around the same time) may get pre-empted by this move to 'force' a general election.
The rumour is those MPs who are against the non-performing-clown will not be going the SD route anymore. So forget about asking to see SDs (Statutory Declarations). This means they will not be going to the Istana.
Instead they are exploring a 'show' of no-confidence in Parliament. (This sounds a bit like what I suggested earlier). They may not even do a 'Vote of no confidence'. No need.
The next Parliament session starts on May 22nd until 15th June 2023. The dissenters may just assemble at least 112 Members of Parliament and then stage a walkout from Parliament. That alone will be sufficient to put the Madani gomen in the minority.
If that happens the gomen will come to a screeching halt. The gomen will not be able to function anymore.
These are rumours. But note that these rumours are just not going away.
And pay close attention to what Hassan Abdul Karim says. The PKR's MP for Pasir Gudang is a sharp observer. He does not speak without thinking. And he is not happy with the way the gomen is non-performing.
The Federal Constitution says the majority support of the members of Parliament. This means the majority or no majority must be proven inside Parliament.
To the Speaker of the Parliament take this as advance notice. Then you can read the Parliamentary Rule Book and prepare yourself how to short circuit any possible 'walkouts'. But be careful. Too much short circuit can electrocute you.
Bottomline is the support for this Madani gomen was never there.
Thank you Anthony Loke for allowing 10 year renewal of driving licenses. Chinese people will not mind paying RM270 for a 10 year license. They will be safe from Police harrasment for at least 10 years.
But Anthony, your average "Malay people" may not even afford to pay the RM30 license fees for one year. And you want the Malay people to pay RM270 for a 10 year license? Its a good idea but they got money or not? They got no money lah.
Remember in Malaysia everything is by race, race, race. Things are not getting easier. Things are getting more difficult.
