Kit Siang How To Make Smoke Without Fire Santiago Mahathir Like Najib
Authorities should review PR of Zakir Naik
inciting racial, religious tension in Malaysia, Kit Siang
said Zakir’s remarks portrayed Indian as ungrateful to PM
despite benefits they enjoy
claimed local Indian more supportive of Modi, than their own leader
Zakir cast baseless aspersions on Malaysian Indians
who have made great sacrifices, contributions to building Malaysia
mischievous, deplorable attempt to create inter-racial, inter-religious tension, misunderstanding, conflict in Malaysia
Malaysian authorities should act on mischievous, irresponsible statement by Zakir
(OSTB : I say Mr Lim please dont cry wolf and shed crocodile tears. You are the government lah. You are the Authority. Not only do you control Penang you have more than TEN Ministers and Deputy Ministers in Cabinet (Guan Eng, Gobind, Theresa Kok, Kulasegaran, Anthony Loke, Ong Kian Ming, Teo Nie Ching, etc) PLUS you control 42 seats in Parliament. Without the DAP there is no more Pakatan. Please do not bullshit your people. It is YOU who must do something about this Zakir fellow. Dont tai chi to other people. You have the power to say no. But the word is nowadays the DAP has also been touched by the devil. The cake has been divided. So plenty of smoke, but no fire.)
DAP called for review in decision-making process
Charles Santiago said too much power in Dr Mahathir
power needed to be shared equally among Pakatan component
controversial issues re race, religion should be through council
We can’t get rid of Najib only to become just like him, he said
Santiago said Dr M making unilateral decisions at troubling frequency
Mahathir calls the shots despite coming from minority party
Santiago said people careless
overlooked one man making arbitrary decisions
I am sure Mahathir, Maszlee aware of sensitivities before (khat) idea floated
(OSTB : Dey thengga, how stupid can you get? Blame the people for overlooking Dr M? The people dont sit in Parliament. The people dont sit in the Cabinet. You do, thengga mandey. It is called representative democracy. Parliamentary democracy. The people voted for you and the DAP to represent them in Parliament and in the Cabinet. The people did not vote for you to tell them they are careless.)
why wouldn’t people be suspicious?
Pakatan protecting Zakir he said
pointed out Malaysia bailed out on Icerd
next week govt backtracking PH manifesto on Lynas license
govt doesn’t have good track record to win confidence of people
people are livid, furious, threaten to vote us out of power
I understand their anger
Mahathir, by now, should be able to read the mood of the people.
he must understand that arbitrary decisions will not get him far
many other issues needed to be addressed including economy
(OSTB : I am not convinced. I think some serious wayang is going on - between the DAP and the PH. Lim Kit Siang spoke too soon in support of the khat issue. Too early. As though on cue. Here is my reading - the DAP has been bought. All this is just smoke and mirrors.
If the DAP has not been bought, then the only other conclusion is that the DAP's reputation among the Chinese - their traditional support base - is certainly being destroyed. Over the past one year the DAP has lost considerable respect from the Chinese. The euphoria of the GE14 victory has dissipated.
Chinese people are now beginning to be suspicious of the DAP.
The DAP better watch out.
Santiago implies that Mahathir is like Najib. These are strong words. So what next Santiago? Will you quit from the Pakatan? Or will you just attend the next "open house" with Dr Mahathir?
Wit the usual hee hee and hee haa all around?
If that is the case, then it is YOU Charles Santiago who is trying to fool the people.)Posted by Syed Akbar Ali
