J T Express To Vaccinate 95 Of Employees By The End Of August 2021

J&T Express Malaysia has fully sponsored the vaccinations against Covid-19 for 2000 of its employees around Klang Valley as the company hopes to have 95% of its frontlines fully vaccinated nationwide by the end of August 2021.

The vaccination took place at DUKE - R&R Segambut on August 7 and August 8 hosting J&T Express’s employees second dose of vaccination, thus completing their course of vaccination.



“Each and everyone is a valuable asset to the company,” said Roy Zeng, C.E.O. of J&T Express Malaysia.

He continued, “It is important for everyone to be vaccinated. We want to ensure that all employees are protected. They are the frontlines of J&T Express.”



With the support from MySejahtera, Kementerian Wilayah Persekutuan (KWP), and EkoVest, the express company’s dispatchers, drivers, and on-site employees received their first Sinovac dose on July 17 and July 18 respectively.

Emelia Yap, Brand Manager of J&T Express Malaysia said, “This vaccination program is essential to protect J&T Express employees from the Covid-19 virus as the cases have spiked to a new high in Malaysia.”



“We are glad to be one of the first few express companies supporting the acceleration of the government’s program in achieving a fully vaccinated nation.”

“We appreciate the contribution of KWP, Ekovest and Gamuda in assisting to help our employees get vaccinated,” she continued.



Working with MySejahtera and National COVID-19 Immunisation Programme (PICK), the company is also working to arrange for the rest of its employees throughout the West and East Coast to receive their vaccinations at local PPV starting this month.

Mr Zeng said, “Vaccination program is currently ongoing productively in states of Penang, Kelantan, and Sabah.”



“We are looking forward to having every employee vaccinated, so customers feel safer and have a sense of security to engage with us.”



J&T Express has fully complied with the government’s directive while fully ensuring strict SOPs are practiced throughout every J&T premises since the full Movement Control Order (MCO) commenced in 2020. The company J&T Express strictly follows protocols such as implementing social distancing in workplaces, frequently uses disinfectants on all equipment including sorting machines, and ensures that employees are with their masks when they are on duty.
