From Landmark To Pan Roti Tissue Klcc Stuns Netizens With Its Height

A MAMAK experience is never complete without the beloved roti canai, the cheesy roti naan or the delectable roti tissue. Where roti is considered, there is a wide range of choices too, confined only to the imagination and creativity of the human mind.
But what happens when that imagination is taken to the next level? For some chefs, the next level means a mega bread the height of an average child, also known as the Roti Tissue KLCC.
True to its name, the bread is composed of two towers complete with a bridge too. Yes, you read it correctly.
The magnitude of this delicacy is best witnessed in a video post on X by netizen @bckupacc99. In the video, the waiter could be seen struggling to bring the bread over to the customer’s table and that is completely understandable.
From the looks of it, the customer will need more than just a fork and spoon to demolish the Roti KLCC. They will likely need a ladder and a safety harness too. The video did not provide any information regarding the location of the Mamak restaurant.
However, a quick check on the internet revealed that this signature dish was served at Restaurant Aliff, Sri Petaling. Apparently the bread was too flimsy to stand on its own, hence, it had to be supported on two mugs.
A customer added in a post on Facebook that the Roti Tissue KLCC was priced at RM17.40.
That is quite pricy considering that the entire tower is made of nothing but flour. But perhaps the chef needs a diploma in associate engineering to prepare it.
It seems that the Roti Tissue KLCC is not the only weird food served there. They also sell Roti Ular, Milo Ais Cheese and Coke Tom Yam.
With names like these, we can only wonder what Restaurant Aliff will come up next. — Focus Malaysia
