Friday Notes From The Quran Surah 69

Today here are a set of verses (38 to 52) from Surah Al Haqqah (Surah no. 69).
I found two translations online. 
The second one is by Abdullah Yusuf Ali. 
Dont know who is the translator for the other set. 
Chapter 69 : Incontestable (Al-Haaqqah)  38 - 52.



Here are the same translations, but only 38 to 50. I lost 51 and 52.

٣٨  فَلَا أُقْسِمُ بِمَا تُبْصِرُونَ
38  Indeed, I swear by what you see.

٣٩  وَمَا لَا تُبْصِرُونَ
39  And by what you do not see.

٤٠  إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ
40  It is the speech of a noble messenger.

٤١  وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوْلِ شَاعِرٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تُؤْمِنُونَ
41  And it is not the speech of a poet—little do you believe.

٤٢  وَلَا بِقَوْلِ كَاهِنٍ ۚ قَلِيلًا مَا تَذَكَّرُونَ
42  Nor is it the speech of a soothsayer—little do you take heed.

٤٣  تَنْزِيلٌ مِنْ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
43  It is a revelation from the Lord of the Worlds.

٤٤  وَلَوْ تَقَوَّلَ عَلَيْنَا بَعْضَ الْأَقَاوِيلِ
44  Had he falsely attributed some statements to Us.

٤٥  لَأَخَذْنَا مِنْهُ بِالْيَمِينِ
45  We would have seized him by the right arm.

٤٦  ثُمَّ لَقَطَعْنَا مِنْهُ الْوَتِينَ
46  Then slashed his lifeline.

٤٧  فَمَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ عَنْهُ حَاجِزِينَ
47  And none of you could have restrained Us from him.

٤٨  وَإِنَّهُ لَتَذْكِرَةٌ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ
48  Surely, it is a message for the righteous.

٤٩  وَإِنَّا لَنَعْلَمُ أَنَّ مِنْكُمْ مُكَذِّبِينَ
49  And We know that some of you will reject it.

٥٠  وَإِنَّهُ لَحَسْرَةٌ عَلَى الْكَافِرِينَ
50  And it is surely a source of grief for the unbelievers.

 
Here is the translation of 69:38 - 52 by Abdullah Yusuf Ali:

69:38     So I do call to witness what ye see,
69:39     And what ye see not,
69:40     That this is verily the word of an honoured apostle;
69:41     It is not the word of a poet: little it is ye believe!
69:42     Nor is it the word of a soothsayer: little admonition it is ye receive.
69:43     (This is) a Message sent down from the Lord of the Worlds.
69:44     And if the apostle were to invent any sayings in Our name,
69:45     We should certainly seize him by his right hand,
69:46     And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:
69:47     Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).
69:48     But verily this is a Message for the God-fearing.
69:49     And We certainly know that there are amongst you those that reject (it).
69:50     But truly (Revelation) is a cause of sorrow for the Unbelievers.
69:51     But verily it is Truth of assured certainty.
69:52     So glorify the name of thy Lord Most High.
 
My Comments : This is perhaps the greatest oath in the Quran.
68:38  Indeed, I swear by what you see. 
68:39  And by what you do not see. 
69:40  It is the speech of a noble messengerThe Messenger is obliged to deliver the message precisely.

69:44     And if the apostle were to invent any sayings in Our name,
69:45     We should certainly seize him by his right hand,
69:46     And We should certainly then cut off the artery of his heart:
69:47     Nor could any of you withhold him (from Our wrath).
