Annuar said he welcomed the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s investigation into a claim that PAS leaders received RM90 million from Umno, but said that authorities would not find anything
“As far as Umno is concerned, our accounts have been scrutinised by MACC. RM90 million is a huge figure. I’m sure they would have found it earlier (if it was true) but any investigation by MACC is most welcome,” he told reporters after a meeting with Sabah Umno leaders here
Annuar, the Ketereh MP, warned PH that the upcoming Semenyih by-election would also see the ruling coalition’s defeat
“We want to tell the government, you can’t fool the people all the time. You can cheat some people some time or some people all the time, but not all the people all the time
“The people have decided, many are disgusted by the broken promises, behaviour and under-performance of the ministers,” he said
