Develop Kelantan First Before Saving Malaysia Umno Youth To Pn Youth

Kelantan Umno Youth called on Pasir Mas MP Fadhli Shaari and his party PAS to focus on developing the state before trying to save Malaysia.
This comes in response to the Perikatan Nasional Youth chief's announcement yesterday that they are launching a movement called 'Gerakan Selamatkan Malaysia' and planned to hold a protest in Kuala Lumpur this Saturday.
In a statement, Kelantan Umno Youth chief Mohd Azmawi Fikri Abdul Ghani described the movement spearheaded by Fadhli and PN Youth deputy chief Wan Ahmad Fayhsal Wan Ahmad Kamal as a "mere attempt to satisfy their political lusts”.
He said this was despite PN and its leaders being mandated to govern Kelantan in the recent state election.
"I want to urge Fadhli and Machang MP Wan Ahmad Fayhsal to stop playing politics because now is the time to develop our beloved state. The rakyat has given you the mandate so why do you need to incite them to join a street protest?
"If you are not satisfied with what’s going on in the country, both of you have been elected into the Parliament where you can raise the issues. Why do you want to make the rakyat suffer again?
"Before you embark on this campaign to purportedly save Malaysia, why don't you start with ‘Majukan Kelantan’ first instead of continuously trying to destabilise the government?" he said.
Water quality
Azmawi also called on the PN leaders to develop a plan to turn Kelantan into an agricultural hub and contribute to the country's food security.
He also questioned whether the duo have any efforts to develop a plan to improve Kelantan's water quality and generate more employment opportunities for the people who have voted for them in the election.
Yesterday, Fadhli and a group of PN youth leaders held a press conference in Kuala Lumpur to announce the new movement, which was set up to protest against the withdrawal of criminal charges against Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Umno president.
Fadhli told reporters that the movement will start with organising a rally in front of a shopping complex in Kuala Lumpur on Malaysia Day this Saturday. - Mkini
