Chini Ppbm Pkr Are Not Sincere
CHINI by-election is seeing how PPBM and Bersatu try to outdo each other in a battle that is expected to provide some contests for Barisan Nasional and Muafakat Nasional via UMNO. Already avowing their intention not to field candidates, both parties planted their interest in two independents.
PPBM, as its secretary-general Hamzah Zainuddin had said earlier will throw support for Perikatan Nasional's 'representative' (UMNO) is not so sincere when its candidate Tengku Datuk Zainol Hisham Tengku Hussin was planted for the state seat.
What intrigues me is no action whatsoever was taken against him. Some said he is a member of 'the other side of PPBM' that supports Dr Mahathir's Pakatan Harapan. To me, whether he is with PM Muhyiddin or Mahathir, he is still a PPBM man and that is a skunk to PN.
PKR too is another political rascal. When Anwar Ibrahim said last two weeks that it will not contest the seat, I already laughed at it. PKR is known to deploy independents where BN had contested. Giving an easy victory for BN is not in their vocabulary.
I am questioning how sincere are these two parties, notably PPBM to UMNO. As being the 'largest component' in the PN government but yet to be treated as second if not third feeder, UMNO is being toyed around for the sake of keeping Muhyiddin and people like Hamzah, Azmin and other PPBM ministers afloat.
Should they are sincere enough, its candidate should be expelled immediately from the party for defying instruction. However, the PPBM camp kept silence.
It goes with PKR 'candidate' Mohd Shukri Mohd Ramli too. Everybody knows that he was for PKR and the fact that PKR people were at the nomination center last Saturday tells it all. Better do it openly.
I'm not questioning their rights to contest but the motives of fielding them as independents. It will be better to come out in the open rather than testing their ground support in an awkward manner. Now that we have discovered their tricks, we in BN must be well prepared with out defense mechanism.
UMNO candidate Mohd Sharim Md Zain who was trolled in the social media by RBA and cybertroopers from the 'dark side of politics' for possessing only a SPM cert, is actually the best choice for N23 Chini constituency.
In politics, a scroll is secondary. What matters is who are you to the constituents and how close and caring you are to their hearts. Sharim (to me) has all it takes to become among the youngest state representatives for Pahang Malaysia.
The local Felda lad is a favorite in this by-election but he will face some challenges from PPBM and PKR. Let the two parties test their base at Chini but I believe that the 20,990 voters are wise enough to differentiate between the fool and wise and true and lies.
What worries me is in getting the voters out. Being the first by-election in the MCO, party workers have to obey all regulations by the Election Commission and the government. It will also be an acid test for UMNO since 'becoming a government' again.
Let it be a clean one,and let us focus on effort to liberate the people from a regime that had dodged them for 22 months... and the one already showing some insincerity!
