Bidadariku From A Different Lyric Perspective
I listened to Bidadariku music video this morning, and I kind of like the beats and all. Yet there is one phrase I am not keen on, where he said...
"Kau Hidup dan Matiku" I know malay love songs keen to use this phrase to convey their message of love to their loved ones. But for me it is inappropriate. Then suddenly I think of, maybe I should view the lyrics in a different perspective..
Lets do it.
Dear Allah, I didnt meant to be unjust. I did not meant to.
The all-knowing You, You know the weakness of mankind who wants it all.
Yet I ignored You..
I do not think of You, Even though You always 'think' of me, listen to me, be near me.
I always 'hurt' you, In short, I am the guilty ones.
I over-indulged myself with the duniya, that is what my lusty heart wants.
You are always there, even though I am flawed, far from perfections because of my own option.
There is no end to Your love, Until the end of my life, You still bless me with so many good things
You accept mankind's remorse even when we kept being unjust, my dear Allah.
Dear Allah,
Give me a chance, I wont repeat the same mistakes, that is my promise.
That I will be Your number one servant, and light up like your sun.
That you hoped for the mankind to become, spreading kindness.
I should have always think of You, because you are always near to me..
I will offend you no more, I know i am the guilty one..
I will always take care of every single corners of my heart..
You are always there even though I am flawed, far from perfections because of my own option.
There is no end to Your love, Until the end of my life, You still bless me with so many good things
You accept mankind's remorse even when we keep on being unjust, my dear Allah..
Hoping You would forgive me.
My life and my death are for Allah (6:162)
I will always believe in You, my only creator...
