Balik Kampung Juadah Tradisi Ramadhan Dinner Buffet A Taste Of Malaysian Tradition At Hyatt Regency Kinabalu
To celebrate this year’s holy month of Ramadhan, Hyatt Regency Kinabalu invites guests to a bountiful buffets pread that are thoughtfully sourced and carefully served using authentic preparation methods as well as traditional family recipes.
Inspired by Malaysia’s culinary heritage, our Ramadhan buffet will feature thef lavours from all 13 states, bringing those much sought-after dishes during this special time of the year. These dishes will be changing weekly for guests to experience something new each time they visit during this month of Ramadhan.
Weekly highlights:
Week 1
Nasi Ulam, Mee Rebus, Pasembur, Rendang Tok
Week 2
Otak-Otak, Ayam Percik, Ikan Tenggiri Tempoyak
Week 3
Bubur Lambok, Gulai Tempoyak Pucuk Ubi, Ayam Pongteh
Week 4
Udang Galah Masak Sambal, Rendang Itik, Nasi Biryani Kambing
Of course, no berbuka puasa will be complete without the obligatory satay, ketupat, lemang, and an assortment of sambals which will also be available in the extensive buffet spread.
Bubur Durian
For those with a sweet tooth, there will be an array of traditional home-made dessert like bubur durian, bubur pulut hitam, kek batik idaman, and a variety of Malay kuih such as Hyatt Regency Kinabalu signature pineapple tart, semperit pandan, kuih makmur, and batang buruk prepared by our specialty chef.
The Ramadan buffet is available daily during the first until the last day of Ramadan from 6:00 PM–10:00 PM, priced at MYR 168 nett per adult and MYR 84 nett per child from 6–12 years old.
For added convenience, prayer rooms are located at the second floor.
