Air Grievances Via Proper Channels Muda Leaders Told
Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman said he welcomed constructive criticism.KUALA LUMPUR: Muda president Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman has rubbished claims that the party prohibits its leaders from airing their grievances on social media.
This comes after several individuals who claimed to be ex-Muda leaders alleged that they risked being kicked out of the party if they were outspoken.
Another alleged Muda member also claimed that he was issued a reminder not to criticise the party on social media.
When asked to comment on the matter, Syed Saddiq, who is the Muar MP, said it was fine for anyone in Muda to criticise the party, adding that he himself accepted criticism as the party president.

“As the president, I have been criticised and I accept constructive criticism which I understand is meant to make the party better.
“(However,) there are proper channels in the party for you to do so. We have an organisation and discipline bureau for you to vent your frustrations,” he said at a press conference outside the Dang Wangi police headquarters with several other political party leaders.
Earlier, the police recorded their statements over a gathering on Saturday to protest against holding the next general election during the monsoon season.
Muda’s deputy president Amira Aisya Abd Aziz and central executive committee member Nurainie Haziqah Shafii, Taman Templer assemblyman Sany Hamzan, and Kampung Tunku assemblyman Lim Yi Wei were among those who had been summoned by the cops.
Dang Wangi police chief Noor Dellhan Yahaya confirmed that the police recorded statements from seven individuals.
It is learned that the organisers did not notify the police about the gathering as required by the law. - FMT
