Though in recorded history of the names of women who involved and participated in raising tools that are so popular now, namely computer.
Who are they? 5 This is the first woman in the history of computer development.
1. Ada Lovelace 1842
Ada LovelaceBorn with the name Augusta Ada Byron on December 10, 1815, this woman is known as the main British writers who work on Charles Babbage's. Babbage's when it is the middle of developing a mechanical general-purpose computer first, an analytic engine.

Henrietta Swan Leavitt Born on July 4, 1868, Herietta Swan Leavitt was American astronomer. Graduated from Radcliffe College, Leavitt go on to Harvard College Observatory in 1893 for work related to computers. Ie ensure and cataloging of the collection of photographic plate result of observations of the bright stars.
This work bring it to innovative theories in the field of astronomy. Because of this, Leavitt including is categorized the first woman that touch with computers.
In addition it, she also is proposed get the Nobel on 1926 in the field of Physics. However, because Leavitt had died four years before, she was not enter of nomination because there are no posthumous awards for Nobel.
3. Grete Hermann 1926
Grete HermannFull name is Henry Hermann Grete, a woman born of Bremen 2 March 1901 this is a mathematician and philosopher from Germany.
She study the mathematics at Gttingen and obtain degree Ph.D. in 1926. His thesis was titled Die Frage der endlich vielen Schritte in der Theorie der Polynomideale algorithms is the foundation for a variety of basic problems in abstract algebra.
His thesis this is also the basis for computer algebra. Hermann algorithm is still used today for the main decomposition.








4. Hedy Lamarr 1942Hedy LamarrDifferent with the others, Hedy Lamarr was known as an Austrian-American artist who has incredible beauty and has a contract of star with the label of the golden age of movies, MGM.
Born on 9 November 1913, Lamarr was also is inventor and mathematician which find the early technology to spread spectrum communication and stepping frequency.
This technology is very needed in wireless communication from the pre-computer era to the computer these days. Lamarr's discovery is many used by the military in the early eras.


5. Jean BartikJean BartikWomen born in Missouri, 27 December 1924 this is one of the original programmers for the ENIAC computer.
Original name Betty Jean Jennings, she was selected as one of the first programmers of ENIAC at the time of computers were developed to calculate the trajectory of a ballistic missile in 1945. Jean Bartik then became part of the group that converts ENIAC into storage computer program which its original implements the ENIAC.
She then work for the development of the UNIVAC computer and BINAC I. Bartik receive honorary doctoral degree from the University of Northwest Missouri.
