Updating Bantuan Sara Hidup 2019 Is Very Cumbersome Creating Hardship For Recipients

It is revealed that updating the records of Bantuan Sara Hidup (BSH) 2019 is very cumbersome and is leaving many poor and needy Malaysians to waste their hard-earned money and time to satisfy the new ruling in completing the updating of their records.

Firstly, a TAC number is given to the mobile phone already listed in their records to enable to get into the existing records to update. Those who had no phone but had relied on someone else phone and those who had changed their phones are now in serious dilemma.

Secondly, to update, the system is requesting a copy of the Marriage Certificate or Divorce Certificate or Death Certificate which need to be scan and attached with the application online or have to go to the nearest Tax Office to speak to their officers and hand over the photostat copies of the required documents.

Most of the poor and needy applicants may have misplaced these documents and have to waste their time going from one office to another to secure a copy of these documents.

The Finance Ministry through the Tax Department that is overseeing the BSH 2019 claims that they are using the "Means Testing" method to approve prospective recipients.

The Tax Department records will be sufficient to ensure whether the applicant is in need or not of BSH 2019 as what was similarly implemented by the previous BN government's BR1M records.

The poor and needy are really surprise that this new Pakatan Harapan government is giving them so much of hardship when they claim that they will always help the poor and needy with a easy way to offer help.

They seem to say something sweet but implement a way to create greater hardship for recipients.

The poor and needy are requesting Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad to intervene and to look into a easier and friendly way of updating their records online so that these poor and needy applicants can secure the BSH 2019 which was promised by the Pakatan Harapan government if they secure to control the federal government and also to review the need to go to the nearest Tax Office to perform their updating of records.
