Unboxing The New Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5g The New Way Of Expressing Capturing And Socializing
Like fashion, the trend of smartphones seems always to repeat itself. In the 1990s, foldable phones were once the king of the tech industry. The flip phone or clamshell is a mobile phone form factor in two or more sections that fold via a hinge. The revolution of flip phones is said to be started in 1996 when the first flip phones were introduced to public consumers. Although the trend of flip phones seems to have slowed down in the early 2010s, now, the trend of folding phones has re-emerged and, of course, with much more sophisticated technology and a more elegant design than ever.
Along with the development of smartphone technology and design, during the Galaxy Unpacked: Get Ready To Unfold event on 11 August 2021, Samsung has launched two smart devices that are quite appealing to fans of smart devices and technology geeks. On top of launching the new generation of Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3, Samsung has also introduced the second generation Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G. This smartphone is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip launched last year for those who still don't know. In this latest generation phone, Samsung says that it has made some improvements, especially its durability.
Earlier last week, we were given the opportunity to unbox the new Samsung Galaxy Flip3 5G, which is highly anticipated by hardcore Samsung Galaxy fans. The Galaxy Z Flip3 5G comes in four colours: Cream, Green, Lavender, and Phantom Black. In addition, Samsung will also offer Gray, Pink, and White exclusively on its website.
Unboxing The New Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G comes with a box design that looks premium and exclusive as usual. The box colour itself is divided into two colour tones, and there is a text of Galaxy Flip3 5G on the left and SAMSUNG on the right side.
At first glance from the exterior, both the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip3 devices did not show any significant changes. Both maintain the same vertical folding smartphone design.
However, the Galaxy Z Flip3 5G does offer a larger rear camera section and a larger cover display of 1.9 inches. Larger than the 1.1 -inch display found on the first Galaxy Z Flip. As a result, it makes it easy for users to read notifications at a glance at your new folding phone.
When you open your Samsung Galaxy Flip3 5G box, the first thing you will be able to see is your new device. As you pick up your new folding phone, there will be a packaging box underneath. Like the previous device launched by Samsung, Galaxy Z Flip3 5G does not come with a charger. Inside the packaging box, you can find:
Data cable (C-to-C) Ejection Pin Product manual
Samsung Galaxy Flip3 5G is equipped with a Foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 6.7 inches screen size. In addition, with a resolution of 426 PPI density, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 5G supports a refresh rate of 120Hz.
While the cover screen carries a Super AMOLED panel measuring 1.9 inches that runs at a resolution of 260 x 512 pixels, it allows for easier checking and interaction with notifications. In addition, it supports more applications without opening your flip phone.
There is another important difference between the two phones, but they are invisible to the naked eye. The Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with IPX8 water resistance. It means withstand underwater better than the Galaxy Z Flip, which has no water resistance rating. According to Samsung Galaxy Z Flip3 comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus on its exterior and Armor Aluminium frame, the strongest aluminium ever used on smartphones.
The right side will be its volume rocker and power buttons, which also work as fingerprint sensors. For previous Galaxy Z Flip users, you might realize that both buttons are raised slightly higher than the last series.
On the bottom part, there is a USB-C port, speaker and also microphone. The Galaxy Z Flip 3 is water-resistant in up to 1.5 metres of fresh water for up to 30 minutes but is not dust-resistant due to its foldable display and folding mechanism. Hence, it is IPX8-rated. To protect against dust and other particles, its Hideaway Hinge has enhanced it's Sweeper technology with shorter bristles.
As for the camera, The Galaxy Z Flip has three cameras, one on the front and two on the back. The back two cameras are 12MP wide and ultra-wide cameras, while the front camera has a 10MP selfie camera that is easy to use in hands-free mode.
Now, there's a lot more that we would share with you. However, to share our experience in using the new Samsung Galaxy Flip3 5G, we would have to use it first for a couple of weeks. So do stay tuned for our next in-depth review of the new SAMSUNG GALAXY FLIP3 5G.
What we can share with you as of now is that we love the design and the fact that it appears premium and classy. We personally loved the fact that the cover display has many uses as the cover display is now larger than the previous series. In particular, the price was also considered a reasonable price tag for the flip smartphone packed with great features in this era.
