Tengku Zulpuri Shah bin Raja Puji is a Malaysian politician and is currently a Vice-Chairman of the Democratic Action Party (DAP) since 12 November 2017. He also serves as Pahang DAP Deputy Chairman and is a member of the Pahang royal family.  
He is the son of Tengku Puji Tengku Abdul Hamid, former PAS Pahang deputy commissioner who is also a former PAS committee member. He was also appointed as Member of the Selayang Municipal Council (MPS) in Selangor in 2009.
He was sworn in as the Deputy Minister of Water, Land and Natural Resources on 2 July 2018 in the presence of His Majesty the Yang di Pertuan Agong. He is the current Member of Parliament for Raub. He was the Pahang State Legislative Assemblyman for Mentakab and previously served as Opposition Leader of the Pahang State Assembly from 2013–2018.

Nak jadi wakil rakyat ke nak berperangai anak raja? Anyway, this Tengku Puji is the chap who demonstrated the utmost arrogance a few days ago in Cameron Highlands. And the reason he can do this is because he is a Malay DAP leader (which is a pretty rare breed — which means he can kwailan if he wants to), he is a Cabinet member (so dia berkuasa dan boleh salah guna kuasa bila-bila masa dia nak sebab dia ada banyak extra), he is a member of the Pahang Royal Family (and Cameron Highlands is in Pahang, so can push his weight around and bully people), plus memang biasalah Pahang Royalty yang sokong Pakatan Harapan always arrogant.
And this is the real Malay dilemma (remember the book that Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad wrote in 1969-1970?). In fact, in the 1980s, Mahathir was able to whack the Royalty and turn the people against the Royalty because of the perangai tak senonoh of the Royalty themselves.
But the thing is this, a few Royal Families buat perangai, but then ALL the Royal Families kena hentam — even the Selangor Royal Family that never misbehaved like the Royal Families of some of the other states. I mean, sure, we do business, but we do not grab timber land or sell datukships for RM250,000 each (or give out 30 datukships every year — RM250,000 times 30 berapa, ah?)

Chinese whack Royalty but pay RM250,000 for datukships from the Rulers I mean, just because 95% of the Chinese voted for DAP (at least that’s what DAP claims) you cannot say all 100% of the Chinese are idiots. To be fair, only 95% of the Chinese who voted for DAP are idiots, the other 5% are not.
The same goes with the Royal Family. There are nine states. Maybe the Royal Families of three or four states misbehave. But why attack all the nine states (like attacking 100% of the Chinese when only 95% of the Chinese voted for DAP)?
Hey, some of us Royal Family members are nice people. And we Royal Family members are NOT racists, like some Malays. For example, I have dated many Chinese girls, one of them who, believe it or not, did not speak a word of Malay or English. Yes, not a word of Malay or English. (And Uncle Lee can confirm this because we were both chasing the same girl — calling Uncle Lee!)

Mahathir managed to attack the Royalty because many of the Royal Families misbehaved Anyway, if the Royal Family, or some of the Royal Families, had not misbehaved, then Mahathir would not have been able to attack us and turn the people against the Royalty. So it is our fault, really. When you telanjang yourself in public you only have yourself to blame if people mock you.

Hello, brader, Tengku Zulpuri Shah, maybe you are an anak raja, but you must be wakil rakyat first and anak raja second. So cukup-cukupah berlagak tu. Kalau nak berlagak sangat, letak jawatan dan duduk je dalam istana. Memang anak raja kadang-kadang berlagak terlajak pun. So biasalah. Tapi kalau nak jadi wakil rakyat then tak boleh nak berlagak. Kenalah perangai senonoh sikit. Paham?
