Rafizi Tak Faham Kejatuhan Ringgit Di Sekolah Kaw Kaw Oleh Johari Ghani
Wolfensohn, IMF dan World Bank semua setuju."
Bergurau saja.
Anyway here is some general, overall advice for Rafizi :
1. stop saying 'saya masa sekolah dulu selalu dapat nombor 1'. That is just cheap thrill.
2. there is no need to say 'I am worth RM18 million', I was paid RM25,000 per month when I was only 27 years old, I got 11 months bonus, within a couple of years" etc.
You worked for a GLC. It means that more than 20 years ago the GLCs were already throwing out taxpayers money paying such high salaries to 27 year olds.
I am told that around that same time, Malaysian CEOs of foreign companies operating here, aged around 40+ years old (over 15 years working experience) were paid around RM30,000 a month.
And yet you were paid RM25k by a local GLC spending taxpayers money, with just two or three years work experience?? Wow. Congratulations.
And your saying "I am worth RM18 million in assets" include paper shareholding in a "sdn bhd" company, not a public listed company. It is very difficult to exactly determine the value per share of an unlisted sdn bhd company.
Just out of curiosity, does your sdn bhd company own the building that you operate from or are you renting the office space? Meaning do you have much fixed assets?
Here is a simple question for Rafizi : can you convert your RM17 million paper shareholding in a sdn bhd into real cash say tomorrow? How about in 6 months? Can you find someone who will be interested to buy your shares for real cash RM17 million?
3. In your TV debate above there was no need to say what the other debater may or may not know. It was very presumptuous and also rude to say that the other speaker will not know how to answer the question.
I know the other speaker Johari Ghani is an UMNO donkey but he seems to have a much better grasp of what has caused the US Dollar - Ringgit movement. You Rafizi Ramli, seem to be shooting in the dark.
If I may add another point, almost ALL the world's currencies have fallen against the US Dollar, among the worst performers being the Japanese Yen, the Taiwan Dollar, the Euro and the British Pound.
Comparatively the Malaysian Ringgit has held up quite well.
Just some pointers.
