Putrajaya Jasin And Rembau Enter Covid 19 Red Zone
CORONAVIRUS | Putrajaya, Jasin in Malacca and Rembau in Negeri Sembilan is now under the red zone for positive Covid-19 cases
The three become the 19th, 20th and 21st districts in the country to be labelled as such, with Putrajaya recording 41 cases, Jasin with 42 and Rembau with 41 cases respectively as at 12pm on April 6
This was stated in a posting by the Health Ministry official Twitter account today, along with maps showcasing the all the districts in the country and numbers of recorded coronavirus cases in each

Yesterday it was reported the whole of Kuala Lumpur is under the red zone with the inclusion of the capital's Cheras district as the 18th district. Cheras now records a total of 45 confirmed cases
Other districts in the red zone include Kota Bharu in Kelantan with 82 cases; Jerantut in Pahang (61 cases); Petaling (296), Hulu Langat (394, Gombak 110) and Klang (112() in Selangor; Kepong (116), Lembah Pantai (386) and Titiwangsa (93) in Kuala Lumpur; Seremban in Negeri Sembilan (162); Batu Pahat (47), Johor Bahru (145) and Kluang (170) in Johor; Hilir Perak (65) and Kinta (87) in Perak; as well as Tawau (67) in Sabah and Kuching(174) in Sarawak
As of today, two areas in Kluang, Johor, Sungai Lui in Hulu Langat, Selangor and Menara City One in Kuala Lumpur have been placed under an enhanced movement control order (MCO) after a spike of positive Covid-19 cases
Areas under enhanced MCO are under complete lockdown with residents not allowed to leave home even to purchase food
Residents will be handed basic government-sponsored ration and are permitted to order other household items through a centre set-up within their area
To date, Malaysia has recorded 3,793 Covid-19 cases, of which 62 people have died while 1,241 have fully recovered and have been discharged from hospital. - Mkini
