1. Take off shoes and hats

4. Do not touch the statue of Buddha

5. Ask before taking photos

6. Do not eat in the vihara

Beautiful Buddha statues, make many traveler want to take pictures with him. Eits, do not directly take pictures, but ask first whether there are prohibition and certain rules.
Some vihara usually allow during posing with courtesy. But in Ceylon the rules of photographed statue of Buddha in the vihara is very tight. Travelers should not be photographed backs to Buddha because it is considered not polite.
