PAS central committee member Nik Mohamad Abduh Nik Abdul Aziz told the MACC that he has no information regarding the allegation that Umno channelled RM90 million to the Islamist party

Speaking to reporters after his statement was recorded, the Bachok MP said those who named him in their MACC report focused on the wrong person and is confident of not being summoned again
“Wrong person. It's not me,” he added
Nik Abduh, who spent more than an hour at the MACC office in Kota Bahru, Kelantan this morning, said he was questioned on several issues, including a controversial audio recording
“My statement was recorded on several issues. I was called over the report on the RM90 million, so I think those who made the report against me were mistaken
“I made a statement (to the MACC) that I have no information. It (the session) took more than an hour because they (MACC officers) had to write down (the statement),” he added
As for the audio recording in which he purportedly talked about receiving RM2 million from Umno, Nik Abduh said he provided a brief answer to the investigators
“I gave a brief answer – it (the recording) has nothing to do with me. I have answered this before, the recording is rubbish, slander,” he added
On a sarcastic note, Nik Abduh, who is the son of the late PAS spiritual leader Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, also thanked those who filed the MACC report against him
“Thank you... I managed to visit this building (MACC office). I have seen it many times but have never stepped inside,” he added
Meanwhile, former PAS deputy president Nasharuddin Mat Isa was summoned to the MACC headquarters in Putrajaya this morning over the same issue
PAS and former premier Najib Abdul Razak have denied the RM90 million allegation. -Mkini
