Donkey On The Roof Panic Is Setting In Among Chinese People And Others As Well
Really no one expected PAS to win 49 Parliamentary seats. It was purely the Malay protest vote against UMNO and the BN.
Someone put the donkey on the roof. It was not me for sure.
Now there is talk that Hadi may become the 10th Prime Minister. Or at least the Deputy Prime Minister.
Or that PAS clowns may get important Cabinet posts like Finance Ministry, Ministry of Education etc. What will happen to the already screwed up banking system? Or the already screwed up education system? Or they may just buy more Mecedi cars.
The Istana Negara has given a time frame for the parties to propose their governments. By 2 PM tomorrow.
"KUALA LUMPUR: Political and coalition party chiefs will have to present to Istana Negara their respectively agreed coalitions, as well as the name of a Dewan Rakyat member as the prime ministerial candidate, before 2pm tomorrow.
Istana Negara Comptroller of the Royal Household Datuk Seri Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin said they would be asked to do so by Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Azhar Azizan Harun."
Perhaps the Istana Negara can give another day or two. There is no need to rush such an important matter as forming the country's government.
Chinese folks and the business community (the real business community, not the fake businessmen) are beginning to worry and even to panic that PAS may play such a big role in government. Foreign investment is already becoming rare. The scare is that even domestic investors may pack up.
Some have begun suggesting that if PH and BN team up, they would have exactly 112 seats. Just enough to form a government.
Despite Zahid Hamidi. Despite Rafizi saying there will be no cooperation with Umno.
MIC and MCA have now called for Zahid Hamidi to step down as chairman of the Barisan Nasional.
There are other possibilities. It is also possible for PH, BN, PN, GPS (Sarawak) and GRS (Sabah) to ponder a unity government. What is so difficult about that? Minus Zahid of course. Zahid has to go.
We do not want corruption. We do not want racial and religious extremism. We want fairness and justice. So why not all work together? Then everyone will be forced to cooperate, keep an eye on each other and make sure no one takes too much for themselves.
The country will stabilise and we can all get back to work.
