Cops To Question 3 Judges Several Others In Connection To Explosive Almost All The Judges Are Corrupt Affidavit

THE police will be calling in three judges soon as part of the investigations into Court of Appeal judge Hamid Sultan Abu Backer’s explosive affidavit into alleged judicial misconduct, said the police chief today
Inspector-General of Police Mohamad Fuzi Harun said his men will be recording statements from these three judges, apart from several other individuals
He did not name the judges
“We will work towards completing the investigations as soon as possible
“Once completed, the investigation papers will be submitted to the deputy public prosecutor,” he was quoted as saying in The Star today
The police had already visited Hamid’s chambers at the Palace of Justice in Putrajaya on February 27 to record his statement
His lawyer, Mohamed Haniff Khatri Abdulla, had then said the judge had maintained his stand as stated in his affidavit, and was ready to give full details in a royal commission of inquiry
The judge had also said the same to the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission when they had visited him to take his statement
The police investigation is based on a report lodged by the chief registrar’s office on February 15
On February 14, Justice Hamid filed an affidavit claiming of judicial misconduct by senior judges
The affidavit was filed in support of lawyer Sangeet Kaur Deo’s application to declare that the chief justice had failed to defend the integrity and credibility of the judiciary in connection with two alleged incidents of judicial interference
Following the disclosure of the affidavit, the government agreed to form an RCI to look into the judge’s allegations
The Attorney-General’s Chambers today applied to expunge a large portion of the affidavit, claiming that they were they were a “contemptuous, scandalous, and scurrilous attack on the judiciary”
