The federal police headquarters is investigating a social media post claiming that Kuala Lumpur High Court judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali is related to Langkawi MP Dr Mahathir Mohamad
When contacted, Bukit Aman CID deputy director (Investigations/Legal) Mior Faridalathrash Wahid confirmed that they had taken over the case from the Taiping district police headquarters
“Investigations are being done under the Sedition Act 1948 and the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998,” he told Malaysiakini, not mentioning which sections of the laws were being used
