A Challenge To You Abang Jo If You Are As Great As You Deem Yourself To Be

I can’t believe Abang Jo is picking a fight with me. He has been picking a fight with me for weeks. What is wrong with him?
Nehru Sathiamoorthy
A couple days ago, as I was walking around SS15, I saw a link to an article on FMT that caught my attention.
It caught my attention because its headline said that according to the Sarawak premier, Abang Jo, Sarawak’s economic success is the result of hard work, not luck before accusing an unknown “someone” of being jealous of Sarawak’s economic success.
When I saw the headline, my interest was piqued, because just a couple of weeks ago, I had written an article titled “When will Abang Jo’s luck run out?”, in which I postulated that the success that Abang Jo has brought Sarawak is more due to luck than skill or talent, because Abang Jo as a leader and a politician, is devoid of talent, skills or ability.
“I am aware that some people in Peninsular Malaysia are jealous of Sarawak’s current progress,” Abang Jo was quoted as saying in the article.
He also said Sarawakians must remain vigilant against those who want to disrupt the state’s economic progress, noting that there were already indications of such intentions.
To alleviate my suspicion that it was me that he was talking about, I then googled for more articles about Abang Jo speaking about luck in the last couple of weeks, and lo and behold, I found not one, or two, but maybe half a dozen articles published, including in The Star, the Sarawak Tribune and The Vibes , that made it quite clear that it was me that Abang Jo was condemning for being jealous of Sarawak’s success.
The article on The Vibes , as a matter of fact, has even directly named me as the person that Abang Jo was referring to.
Not only that, but somebody called Idris Buang, who is Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) information chief and Muara Tung assemblyman, also chipped in to dismiss my article as the writing of someone who is “not congruous to and in fact jealous” of Sarawak’s success.
“They are in essence disseminators of falsehood and seemingly act like harbingers of doom of sorts,” Idris added.
Anyway, reading all those articles and seeing all those people take me down has only confirmed to me that Abang Jo must indeed be a leader and politician who is most likely surviving and thriving by sheer luck rather than on the merit of his abilities.
Abang Jo is not of my level. He is head of the biggest state of Sarawak and a Kingmaker in Putrajaya, while I am the sort of guy who will not rather drink a glass of Teh Tarik than pay twenty cents more than usual for one. The article against Abang Jo that I wrote in Newswav was not even a popular article. It only got a modest 4.4k of views, which meant that it likely did not even make it to the top 20 list of Newswav’s most popular articles that day.
If Abang Jo had any political skill or acumen, he should have just let the article die out on its own rather than give it a breath of life by not only repeatedly talking  about it for two weeks in a row, but by getting a couple of other fellas, including a state assemblyman, to talk about it.
After all, in this crazy world we live in, an article that was written by a nobody, and was only read by 4.4k people, and that too only on Newswav, which is just a content aggregator rather than a national or even regional publication, would have naturally been swept away into nothingness in a day without even you needing to do anything about it.
But no, Abang Jo couldn’t even do something so simple as nothing and win even without lifting a finger. Instead, for two weeks in a row, not only did he carry the article like it was some ghost from a Thai horror flick sitting on his shoulders, he brought his friends to carry it too, and together they have been trying their utmost to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Let me remind you again, dear readers. I am just a content creator on Newswav. To be a content creator in Newswav is not even a mark of distinction, because literally anybody can be a content creator in Newswav. Abang Jo is the premier of the biggest state in the country and the Kingmaker in Putrajaya. Him bringing a couple of buddies of his to crush me is like The Rock bringing in John Cena and Hulk Hogan to crush the kid in “Home Alone”.
First of all, The Rock would have never picked a fight with the “Home Alone” kid. If The Rock wants to fight, he would have picked on somebody his own size. That Abang Jo is picking on me to start a fight, and that too by bringing a couple of buddies along, just proves my point that Abang Jo himself lacks confidence in his own skills and ability. Only somebody who is absolutely insecure about his abilities and skill will punch down against someone he has a huge advantage over. A talented and skillful person won’t do it, because they will find it shameful.
That visible fear that Abang Jo is displaying against that article of mine is also likely a sign that all is indeed not well in the state of Sarawak. Despite what he thinks of me, I am self-evidently not trying to “disrupt Sarawak’s progress” or am jealous of its success. Those kinds of things are self-evidently not my level. You have to be a fool to believe that a person who will not pay an extra 20 cents for a teh tarik desires  to disrupt the economic progress of the district, let alone the biggest state in the country.
By attempting to pick a fight with me repeatedly, Abang Jo has also unnecessarily revealed his hand. Abang Jo clearly sees enemies everywhere. I don’t see why he is reacting with fear over such an insignificant article, other than because deep down, he also believes that what i wrote in that article is true, because even his instincts are telling him that the knives are out for him, just like I had postulated in the article.
Anyway, if Abang Jo truly believes that unlike what I had written, he is a man of great talent and abilities, I will end here by just throwing him a challenge.
East Malaysia should rightfully get 35 percent of the seats in the parliament. Our previous Prime Minister, Ismail Sabri, had in fact, already agreed that Sabah and Sarawak will indeed see its percentage of seats in the parliament raised from 25 percent to 35 percent.
When Anwar became prime minister in 2022, one of the first things that he said was that he was going to do right by Sabah and Sarawak.
Sarawak is also a kingmaker in Malaysia today.
Considering all this, it really should not be hard for Abang Jo to get the extra 10 percent seat for Sabah and Sarawak by the end of the year. With the advantage that Sarawak has over Putrajaya today, all Abang Jo really needs to get East Malaysia 35 percent of seats in the parliament is just to tell Anwar that that if he doesn’t give Sabah and Sarawak the extra 10 percent of seat that Putrajaya owes Sabah and Sarawak by the end of the month, Sarawak will withdraw its support for the Madani government and cause it to collapse. If he says that, Sabah and Sarawak probably won’t even have to wait for the end of the year to get what is due.
But I put it to you that Abang Jo will not be able to get the extra 10 percent of seats even though Sarawak has been waiting for more than 50 years to get it  and even after it has been promised to Sarawak by not one, but two prime ministers in the last 2 two years. He will not only not be able to get it by the end of the year, he will never be able to get it, even if you give him all the time in the world.
You know why? Because even by the way he is picking a fight with me, it is clear to me that this is a man who has never had to fight or struggle for anything in his life. Everything was probably handed down to him on a silver spoon by his father or uncle or patron or whatnot.
If he had an iota of fight in him, he would not have brought his friends just to pick a quarrel with an unknown writer over an insignificant article when he had already won even without needing to lift a finger.
From this action alone, we can see that he is so devoid of talent, confidence, skill and abilities, that even if Fortune brings victory to him on a silver platter, he will still somehow or other find a way to snatch defeat.
